We've probably all dreamed of winning the lottery and if you need some ideas on how to spend it, here are 5 things in Southwest Florida you could buy with the Powerball jackpot.

You may have heard that the Powerball jackpot has grown even higher. Nobody won Wednesday night'd drawing, so the jackpot is now up to $935 million. I love my job and am comfortable in my living situation in Fort Myers, but winning the lottery sure would be nice. While I'd be fine winning $1 million, or even $100,000, winning a big jackpot would be the ultimate.

Living in Southwest Florida, we see plenty of hard working people who have all earned their money, but hey, having that kind of money without lifting a finger sounds great. Sure, you need to make a stop to purchase a ticket, but after that you could literally sit back and relax. And because you'd have so much cash, you could hire someone to do everything for you. But how would you spend all that money?

5 Things In Southwest Florida You Could Buy With The Powerball Jackpot

If you have a hard time spending it, I wouldn't mind taking some of that cash off your hands. But if you win the $935 million jackpot, you could have so much fun. Here are some ideas:

  1. The most expensive home in America is for sale in Port Royal, Naples. It's $295 million. You'd still have plenty of money leftover.

2. The Palmer Johnson 120 yacht. This one is for sale right now in Naples for $7.3 million.

3. A private jet because what almost-billionaire doesn't have one? I found a great Gulfstream G650ER for sale right here in Florida for $49.75 million.

4. A Rolls-Royce Boat Tail. It can be yours for $28 million.

5. And finally, just because you're a millionaire, doesn't mean you can't love Taco Bell. To open a franchise, you can expect to invest up to $2.5 million per location. That means you could own nearly 375 of them!

The next drawing is on Saturday, good luck!

When it comes to luxury accommodations, the sky is the limit when it comes to the price per night and one Florida hotel is among the most expensive in America.

When I travel, the type of hotel I stay in really depends on how much time I plan on spending there and what amenities I plan on using. I took myself on a little getaway up to Clearwater Beach a few months ago and went with a higher-end resort so I could take advantage of the bars/restaurants, bike & kayak rentals, the complimentary beach chairs and the rooftop pool. When I go to Disney, I like to stay on property so I can use the park transportation and get in an hour early, plus all their properties are so gorgeous. But if I’m only going for one night, like I did last week, I just stayed at a cheap motel, it was just a place to crash for the night. I think I spent a total of 10 hours there total.
