Summer is on the way, and that means lots of beer festivals. The U.S. has a lot of fantastic beer festivals, and some of them are right here in Florida. If you're planning to hit the beer festival circuit this year, there's one Florida beer festival that has been ranked one of the best in the U.S. So, get this one on your itinerary.

The news is from USA Today's 10Best readers' poll, which recently asked for people to vote for their favorite beer festivals. Readers were asked to vote on a range of beer festivals throughout America, and the poll named the top 10. The initial list of beer festivals was put together from a panel of beer experts, who nominated their top picks. But, the poll itself was purely based on readers' votes, so it's all about the people. "Beer festivals not only offer attendees the chance to sample numerous brews (sometimes even rare and one-off pours)," USA Today states, "but also allow beer fans to get to know their favorite brewmasters, sample paired foods, and learn all about beer and brewing."

The No. 1 best beer festival in America, according to the poll, is Barrel & Flow Fest in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The festival features around 3,000 craft beer industry professionals and enthusiasts, so it's a massive even in Pennsylvania. The event also celebrates Black-owned breweries. So, what about Florida? We made the list at No. 9 with the 3 Sons Brewing Co. in Dania Beach. They call it a "super-fun Lumberjack Day, a 5-hour craft beer drinking festival that features 50 of the world's best breweries." In order to attend, you need to get an advance general admission ticket or VIP pass, since the event is so popular. That comes with a bunch of fun stuff, such as unlimited pours, axe throwing, food trucks, chainsaw sculpting events and more. It's pretty wild and cool, so it's nice to see this event get national attention.
