When you're talking about burgers, smoky BBQ, and top-notch steaks, plenty of cities have got you covered. But only a select few can really be crowned the meat lover's paradise.

A recent survey has ranked the top cities in America for all the meat enthusiasts out there. Linz Heritage Angus conducted a thorough analysis of data from over 17,000 steakhouses, burger joints, BBQ spots, and butcher shops in the 50 most populous cities nationwide. They carefully compared these cities using eight different factors, including the number of meat destinations, average Yelp ratings, the proportion of highly rated meat establishments, the quantity of Michelin-starred steakhouses, and the average monthly Google search volume for meat-related topics.

Which Florida city is the best for meat eaters?

When it comes to satisfying the cravings of meat enthusiasts, Miami takes the crown as a meat lovers' paradise. The city is home to more meat destinations than any other city on the ranking. It has an impressive 102.3 meat destinations per 100,000 residents, offering plenty of options for carnivores. Not to mention, Miami proudly hosts two Michelin-star steakhouses, adding a touch of prestige to its meat scene. Overall, Miami has 84 steakhouses (19.1 per 100,000), 50 BBQ restaurants (11.4 per 100,000), and more than 250 burger restaurants (57.1 per 100,000). Miami residents are truly dedicated meat lovers, with 18,222 meat-related Google searches per 100,000 residents according to the study.

In the rankings, Las Vegas secured the runner-up position, closely followed by Atlanta, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Oakland, Portland, Oregon, Boston, Denver, and Kansas City. While Miami claimed the top spot overall, Las Vegas was crowned as the best city for steak lovers, mainly due to its impressive tally of 119 steakhouses.

Other meat-loving metropolises include New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, with the highest number of Michelin-star steakhouses. And when it comes to the best-rated meat destinations, San Diego takes the crown, with an average Yelp rating of 4.04 stars out of 5, making it a prime spot for meat lovers to indulge.
