Travel Lemming, an online travel guide with more than 10 million annual readers, released its annual summer list of 150 best things to do in the USA. Each year, the site’s team of two dozen writers and editors handpicks the list to highlight the USA’s many hidden gems. The annual list aims to help Americans discover unique attractions around the country and in their own backyards.

A diverse array of attractions made the article’s Top 10 designation, including a wild animal sanctuary in Colorado, a Bavarian Village in Washington, and the world’s largest musical instrument in Virginia.

Much to our surprise, popular Disney parks like Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT were noticeably absent from the list. Also missing was Universal Studios and Sea World. But then again, with their marketing budgets, you likely knew about them anyway. So here's what they came up with.

Crab Island in Destin shines in the Top 20 at #15, while the Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island follows at #24. Other notable rankings of attractions in Florida include Wetlands Park in Orlando sits at a respectable #29, while Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami follows behind at #58. Port Canaveral in Cape Canaveral secures the #73 spot, and Tarpon Springs in Tarpon Springs comes in at #83.

Falling lower on the list is Wekiwa Springs State Park in Apopka holds the #103 position, followed by Robert is Here in Homestead at #124. Lastly, LEGOLAND Florida Resort in Winter Haven rounds out the list at #137. These rankings provide insights into the popularity and appeal of these diverse attractions throughout the state of Florida.
