WORLD SERIES TRIVIA ON WIKI-PETE-IA

MLB

Look, I get it.  It's football season and this is a football country.  But the MLB postseason Wild Card round has come and gone so I think it is time for some World Series Trivia on Wiki-Pete-ia on the Shemon and Sheppard Show .

In case you are not fortunate enough to be lucky caller number nine at 239-337-ESPN, then you are in luck!  Play at home and dazzle your family!  Stump your co-workers with useless knowledge!  Amaze your friends with your newfound intelligence!  Below are the actual questions AND ANSWERS heard during Wiki-Pete-ia on our show.

Again, I know we are all about football but "back in my day," (said in classic old-timey voice) baseball was a big deal.  It was our national pastime.  In fact, I remember racing home after school to watch postseason day-baseball on over-the-air network TV!  Can you imagine?

Now it's up to the Phillies , Braves, Mariners, Astros, Guardians, Yankees, Padres and Dodgers to continue the tradition of postseason memories.  (It sure won't be the Mets!). And one side note, if I may.  We had a listener who did not know who the Guardians are.  Not kidding!  Nor am I making fun of one of our beloved listeners.  My point is that baseball has some work to do to capture the imagination of baseball fans.  So we will do our part and do World Series Trivia on Wiki-Pete-ia.

Good luck to you!
