Here are your Weekend Vibes, what's happening in Southwest Florida September 9-11.
This weekend is encompasses a date that is ingrained into the memories of almost everyone, 9-11. It's hard to believe it's been 21 years since the terror attacks. We were all stunned when terrorists flew two planes into the World Trade Center towers in New York City. A third plane crashed into the Pentagon. The attacks, carried out by al-Qaeda, changed the world.
The number of fundraisers, memorial events and remembrances being held around Southwest Florida this weekend are too many to list here. But we're giving it a shot with a few.
Even the monthly Yappy Hour event at The Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers is recognizing canine first responders.
Besides 9-11 activities, are all kinds of things going on to keep you entertained. Whether you want to be inside where it is cool, and outside in the fresh air.
And, now that we are past Labor Day, if you are struggling with that fashion rule of wearing white, there is good news. According fashion experts the tradition of no whites after Labor Day is passé. So if you feel so inclined this weekend, wear the color and wear it well.
Get out, support local, and enjoy these weekend vibes, what's happening in Southwest Florida September 9-11.
