Jacksonville Jaguars Mascot Is A ‘Florida Man’ Wearing Only An American Flag Speedo At Yesterday’s Game – Twitter Reacts

It's reasons like this why I'm proud to live in Florida. What other NFL mascot could pull off what the Jacksonville Jaguars mascot did yesterday?

The Jacksonville Jaguars mascot goes by the name Jaxson Deville. He's been around since 1996 and his antics have ben well documented. According to Wikipedia "In recent years, Jaxson has been taking bigger risks, including making bungee jumping and zipline entrances from the TIAA Bank Field light fixtures.^[10] On December 16, 2009, he ended up getting stuck during a zipline stunt and hung above the field by his feet for three minutes while crews tried to free him. "

So when Jaxson came out in the first half in his latest stunt, the announcers had some thoughts. “What is going on with Jaxson de Ville today?” and  “I’m wondering if we are allowed to show Jaxson de Ville on the air.”

So..... did it help? I think so. The Jags beat the Baltimore Ravens 28-27. Trevor Lawrence had one of his biggest games of the year. 29/37 for 321 yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. If your mascot shows up in speedos and you win. Do it again.

Twitter was having fun with it during the game and it looks like someone higher up may have noticed. Jaxson was back in his full suit for the second half.
