Final Days For These Southwest Florida Halloween Events

The full moon is beginning to wane and all Hallows Eve is finally here. The weekend was jammed packed with spirited things to do. However, just because the weekend is over does not mean there still aren't lots of events to give you one more chance to dress up and have some fun. The final days for these Southwest Florida Halloween events are underway and we have a quick and dirty guide for you here.

You can still walk through haunted corn mazes and spooky swamps. you can even still catch a showing of the iconic Rocky Horror Picture Show. Be sure to dress the part, any part and get a swag bag of props. At least one of these events is extended through the end of the week. All of the details are found below.

Southwest Florida Halloween Events

If you still need a Halloween costume, it is not too late to throw something together. If you don't want to spend a lot of money and you don't have a lot of time, here are some pretty clever DIY ideas. Now you have one less excuse for dressing up.

Finally, there are numerous places offering safe trick or treating or trunk or treating for Halloween. Southwest Florida pediatrician Dr. Annette St Pierre-MacKoul has some tips for parents when it comes to reigning in the sugar consumption while still having fun. Click here for that info. To help with good nutrition before the parties, Bubba's Roadhouse and Saloon in Cape Coral is feeding kids for free.  They have to be in costume and accompanied by a paying adult. Rocky Horror Picture Show

This is a classic Halloween activity. The campy, interactive movie is playing several places during the month of October. One is at Arts Bonita. Here, the move is outdoors. The screening is Monday October 30th at 7pm. $15 includes prop bag

Farmer Mike's Haunted Corn Maze

Farmer Mike's annual Fall Festival and Corn Maze is back for its 7th season. There is a more kid friendly Amazing Honeybee Corn Maze as well. Festivities include zombie paintball, bounce houses, pumpkin patch and all kinds of fun. Events are every Friday through November 5th. However, the haunted corn maze is Friday and Saturday nights from October 6th to 28th. Prices vary. Farmer Mike’s is in Bonita Springs. More info here.

Lakes Park Fall Festival in Fort Myers

This annual runs through Halloween. It's famous for many things including the Scarecrows in the Park exhibit. There is a Halloween Express Train Ride, hayrides, a pumpkin patch and all kinds of family fun. Prices vary.  More info here.

Halloween Notte – Port Charlotte Pumpkin Festival Scare Park

Halloween Notte – Port Charlotte Pumpkin Festival Scare Park opens October 13th at the Charlotte County Fairgrounds. There are crazy, scary haunted houses but also some less scary events and fun for kids of all ages. Halloween Notte is only held on the weekends through October 31st. Prices vary. More info here.
