What makes wicked voodoo magic? Is it a head from a newt, a wing from a bat... Or is it weed and shrooms? I guess you'd have to ask the Florida man who threatened law enforcement with voodoo magic spells.
According to NBC2, it all started when the suspect was taking a ride down I-75 in Collier County. The Florida Highway Patrol didn't have to do much detective work to spot trouble when Yvenson Pierristil zoomed past them, breaking the speed limit by a cool 15 mph. But it wasn't just his speed that caught their attention. It was his car windows were like blackout curtains, perfect for a vampire or a voodoo priest out for a Florida cruise.
Now, when the troopers started asking questions, Pierristil's body turned into a nervous wreck. He was sweating bullets, blushing like a tomato, and couldn't hold a gaze to save his life. When the troopers caught a whiff of something suspicious, they knew there was more to this guy than speed... Like weed.
Voodoo Magic Spells Trouble:
They found crumbs of pot scattered around his car, and the smell was like a Skunk convention. But the real prize? A secret stash of 70 grams of marijuana and 34 grams of voodoo magic mushrooms, neatly tucked away in his glove compartment.
But Pierristil wasn't just catching heat from the police for his stash. Nope, he decided to add a sprinkle a little bit extra to this chaotic recipe. A few dashes of disrespect. He mouthed off to the troopers, dropping a few choice curse words, and even threatened to bring his relatives in on the action, promising some voodoo magic.
Well, the troopers weren't about to let that slide. They slapped Pierristil with a triple whammy for possession of marijuana, possession of magic mushrooms, and a bonus charge for threatening a law enforcer. Talk about a bad trip man!
