It's a very rare sight to see snow in Southwest Florida, but this weekend snow is coming to Naples.

They say today the temperature in Fort Myers is the coldest we've seen since January 27, but is it cold enough to snow? Well, no. In Naples this weekend there's highs in the mid-80's. But there will be snow! This Saturday, it's the 39th annual Collier County SnowFest from 4-8pm at Paradise Coast Sports Complex.

Will there be real snow at SnowFest?

You better believe it! Especially for Florida kids who may have never seen snow, there's a first time for everything and this weekend there will be plenty. In fact, nearly 100 tons of snow will be in Naples! According to a press release, SnowFest will feature six giant slow slides and four snow mountains, fun for kids of all ages. In addition to snow, there will be live music by Rock Republic, vendors, pictures with Santa, a holiday fun bounce area, laser tag, face painting, remote controlled cars and food. Starting at 7:30pm on the Great Lawn, a Christmas movie will play on the big screen.

If you're looking for fun for the whole family, wristbands are available in advance for $5 here. They will be $8 at the door on Saturday. Kids under 3 are free. There's also a VIP ticket option for $35 that includes a food buffet, a private cash bar and a SnowFest t-shirt.
