Obviously the childbirth cost is going to vary based on your insurance plan. So this number can go up or down. Florida's cost, based on their formula, breaks down like this. $3,276.00 for the rent increase. $7,186.00 for childcare. $11,938 for the childbirth costs. The most expensive on the list is Massachusetts, due to its high cost of childcare. Least expensive place to have a baby? Mississippi. Having a baby in Florida, or any other state really, is an expensive thing to do. Conversely, you can get a 36 pack of condoms on Amazon for $15 dollars. They call it a "value pack", but they really missed the opportunity to call it a "no family pack."
