By now we've all heard about the Margaritaville resort coming to Fort Myers Beach, and now a Margaritaville hotel is coming to Naples.
Of course here in Florida, Jimmy Buffett is very popular and the Margaritaville brand has taken many directions. From cafes around the country to resorts to the Margaritaville At Sea cruise line.
I've been to plenty of Margaritaville restaurants, but last weekend I checked out my first Margaritaville resort on Hollywood Beach. Every single detail makes it tropical perfection. From the margarita glass chandelier to the bright colors. The beachy décor throughout the hotel..as soon as you step inside and instantly feel like you're on vacation.
Naples beach will soon be getting its own Margaritaville hotel. Now, it won't be a massive resort like what's coming to Fort Myers Beach, but rather a boutique hotel. The Stay Bridge on Tamiami Trail in Naples will soon be a Compass by Margaritaville 120 room hotel. And of course, with anything Jimmy Buffett-related there will be plenty of frozen concoctions available at the "5 o'Clock Somewhere" bar.
There's currently a Compass on Anna Maria Island, but closer to us, NBC2 reports that construction on the Compass in Naples is set to begin in July with an opening expected in December. You can see pictures and find more info on what the hotel will offer here
