Walt Disney World Announces Opening Date For Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
The grand opening for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is set for Oct. 1, 2021, at EPCOT at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The family-friendly attraction makes guests feel as if they shrink to the size of Chef Remy as they scurry through Gusteau’s restaurant. The wait is finally over! Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will open at EPCOT on October 1st, 2021 to help kick off the opening season of the 50th Anniversary celebration.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure invites guests into the flavorful world of Disney and Pixar’s Academy Award®-winning “Ratatouille,” where they will feel as if they shrink to the size of Chef Remy and scurry through Gusteau’s famous restaurant.
Guests will find Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in a newly expanded area of the park’s France pavilion, where the real is made fantastic in a reimagining of Paris inspired by the film.
The theme park also announced on its Facebook page that La Crêperie de Paris, a new restaurant offering both table and quick-service options, will also open the same day.
The menu will feature sweet crepes, savory buckwheat galettes (naturally gluten-friendly), and authentic French hard cider.

The “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” is an 18-month event that will feature "Beacons of Magic" at all four parks and shimmering EARidescent décor will appear as if by magic.
Here is what to expect:
- Magic Kingdom- Cinderella Castle will illuminate the park with a dazzling glow that sparkles with pixie dust.
- EPCOT- Lights shine from within Spaceship Earth’s reflective panels as stardust emerges to symbolize beacons of possibility and optimism.
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios- The iconic Hollywood Tower Hotel glitters with EARidescence, evoking the glimmer and shimmer of the golden age of imagination and adventure.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park- A warm and glorious light emanates from the Tree of Life, as enchanted fireflies gather to call forth the magic of nature.
