Karen Goes Off The Deep End, Threatens To Shoot Gov. Ron DeSantis, And Other Politicians
Karen Jones, 55, of Palm Beach County was arrested for threatening to shoot Ron DeSantis, Marco Rubio, and Rick Scott in a Twitter post on Thursday.
She tweeted a response to the Governor's "Combatting Violence, Disorder And Looting And Law Enforcement Act". The legislation proposes new criminal offenses and increased penalties for individuals involved in violent or disorderly assemblies.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement determined that Jones was the owner of this account. When confronted by detectives, she told them that she was the owner of that Twitter account and that the post was just a joke.
She was arrested and charged with threatening to kill or do bodily harm and taken to Palm Beach County jail.
