Regal Cinemas will be closing it’s doors indefinitely in the U.S. on Thursday.
This came after the news of more postponements in the 2020 movie schedule and the new James Bond movie.
They had just recently reopened their doors along with multiple other cinema chains after being closed for months due to the pandemic.
Other SWFL theaters are set to close their doors also. Naples’ Paragon Theaters Pavilion 12 and the chain’s other locations in Florida will close for “short intermission and break in its daily operations,” marketing director Don Edwards said Tuesday.
AMC theaters plan to stay open. They currently have about 80% of their theaters open and operational.
Here’s a list of the Regal theaters that are closing in our area.
- Regal Bell Tower and ScreenX in south Fort Myers
- Regal Naples 4DX & IMAX in North Naples
- Regal Gulf Coast & IMAX in San Carlos Park
- Regal Town Center in Port Charlotte
- And Regal Coconut Point in Estero
