Tua is a Top-10 QB in the League

The Miami Dolphins are 5-3, and are 5-0 in games that Tua starts and finishes. The offense is humming in Miami, and for the first time in at least a decade the Fins are never out of a game. There are times where Tua doesn't look like a top-10 quarterback, but the stats are pretty convincing. Tua is a top-10 QB in the league.

The best stat is the teams record. The Dolphins are 12-1 in their last 13 games with Tua under Center. During that 13 game sample size Miami has beat the Ravens twice, Buffalo at home, and 2 wins over the Pats. The guy just wins football games. For all the "can't throw the deep ball" people, Tua is averaging 9 yards per completion. That's 1st in the league among starters. His 12 Touchdown passes are T-7 in the league. And his 4:1 TD to INT ratio is T-3 in the league with Josh Allen, only behind Tom Brady and Jalen Hurts.

The stats are there. Tua is a top-10 Quarterback in the league. I've broken the remaining 31 starters into 4 tiers. Guys that Tua is better than, guys Tua has been better than this year, guys in the same area as Tua, and guys ahead of Tua. This is based off of what we have seen in 2022. Obviously Tom Brady is a better Quarterback over his career. But this season it is difficult to make the argument Brady>Tua. Tua has played better than Super Bowl Champions, League MVP's, and former league leaders. The verdict is in. Tua is a top-10 QB in the league currently.
