Any time the Powerball jackpot gets over a half a billion dollars, my interest is piqued. But I want an edge. I'm not the player that just hands the Publix cashier 10 bucks for some auto-picks. I want to engage some math. I want to know which Powerball numbers have been drawn the most. And the bigger the sample size, the better. So I checked the Powerball statistics for the last 797 drawings for Powerball since Wednesday, October 7, 2015. That's when Powerball changed into the format that they use today. 7 years of data.
If you want a super-deep dive into Powerball analytics, use this site here. I'm just presenting abbreviated data into a format that's simple. How many times that number has been drawn. When that number is last drawn. This data was compiled on Monday October 24th, 2022. If you're reading this after that date, well, you'll need to adjust the numbers. The numbers also do not include Double Play. I want to win piles of money. Here's the system I use.
