New TikTok Trend – Everyone is Going To See ‘Minions: Rise of Gru’ Dressed In A Suit

I'll admit, I sometimes bash on TikTok for some of their more stupid trends. But this one, this one is pure genius. The new Minions movie 'Rise Of Gru' opened this weekend and somehow, somewhere, the trend started to dress in a full suit and go to the movie. It looks like it got the start on Friday with with a group of young men, teens, maybe college, all dressed up in their Sunday best to go watch the movie. After they put the video up on TikTok, it just erupted. The film has already set a July 4th weekend opening box office record, easily surpassing what Vince did with Aquaman (go ask your Dad about Entourage) and Minions Rise Of Gru is well on it's way to becoming a monster hit. But why are guys across the world dressing up in a suit to go watch the movie? No idea. But have a look.
