It's Peyton Manning's birthday so today we will take a step away from March Madness College Basketball and try Hall of Fame QB trivia. It's at 4;45 with Wiki-Pete-ia. However, today it will be Chris-O-Pedia since Pete is busy cheering on his Miami Hurricanes. (Btw, it's also the anniversary of Dan Fouts' retirement in 1988 so this is yet another reason to celebrate HOFer QB's on the Shemon and Sheppard Show on ESPN Southwest Florida.)
Peyton Manning came out of Tennessee and was immediately known as a student of the game. Now, he, like most rookies, struggled during his rookie year with the Colts. But he quickly became one of the best QB's the game had ever seen. He led the Colts to two Super Bowls and won one. After a serious neck injury forced the Colts to let him go, he jump started his career with MVP efforts in Denver where he won Super Bowl 50 before retiring.
So, if you'd like to test your knowledge of HOF QB's, be caller number 9 at 239-337-3776, or 239-337-ESPN. Win prizes and take on Chris today in HOF QB Trivia.
