Major League Baseball loves to parade out famous people to throw the ceremonial first pitch. Last night, Steve Aoki received the honor in Boston. I, myself, have thrown out the first pitch of many minor league baseball games, but because I used to be a pitcher and I'm actually pretty good, you've never seen my first pitches on social media. That's because only the bad first pitches get retweets.
So last night, Steve Aoki was given the honor to throw out the first pitch at historic Fenway Park as the Boston Red Sox hosted the Houston Astros. Steve Aoki is an incredibly wealthy DJ with a huge worldwide following, but if you thought his pants were the worst part of last night's performance, you would be wrong. Maybe he got caught up in the moment, maybe his adrenaline kicked in, maybe he did it on purpose, but I've never seen anyone overthrow the catcher by this much on a first pitch.
