Americans buy millions, literally millions of pounds of chocolate for Valentines Day.  Just look at the shelves of any store you go into this week and you are bound to see boxes and bags of the sweet treats piled high. Chocolate has long been considered an aphrodisiac. Perfect for a day set aside to express love. There is something about chocolate. It makes people happy. And opening a box full of pretty chocolates in different shapes, filled with different ingredients is like a delicious treasure hunt.

Chocolate is an undeniable Valentines staple. Sure you can buy a box of something wonderful for your love. But making something is also fun. In addition, doing so with your significant other could be a great recipe for romance.
