Up until now, the LIV golf league, operated by the Saudi's, has thrown tons of money at household name players so they'd leave the PGA. The strategy has largely worked with players like Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka and others making a run for the LIV money.
Others like Rory McElroy, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas and Tiger Woods have remained loyal to the PGA Tour where they made their fame and fortune.
