As Cubs - Mets Game Drags, TV Station Sends Reporter Into The Stands To Help With The Beer Cup Snake

As the Mets cruised to an easy 8-0 win over the Cubs, New York tv station SNY was looking for something to hold the interest of the viewers. They found it in the stands.

As is tradition, Cubs fans at Wrigley Field begin building a cup snake out of empty plastic beer cups mid way through the game. So, SNY did what it should. They sent sideline reporter Steve Gelb into the stands to help build the snake. It's when Steve decided to interview a fan named Jake that we were treated with comedy gold.
