Colts Richardson A Bust And He Is Tired!

Colts Richardson a Bust! That's right, Indianapolis Colts quarterback and former Florida Gator Anthony Richardson is an NFL Bust. He was a high risk first round pick by the Colts last year because he was talented but raw.

Despite playing in his second season in the league he is still the youngest starting QB in the league. But he only played 13 games at Florida. When the Colts took him they new he was a bit of a project and they would have to bring him along patiently.

But Richardson missed most of his rookie season due to injury. And he has missed time this season due to injuries. So he is not gaining valuable experience as quickly as he should. But injuries are apart of the game.

But when he does play his stats are not very promising. In Sunday's loss to the Texans he completed just 10 of his 32 passes. That's a bad completion percentage. But that was not the worst part of his performance...

COLTS RICHARDSON A BUST

On a third and goal he asked to come out of the game for a play because he was tired. Let me repeat that in case you think you read that incorrectly. He asked to come out of the game because he was tired on a third and goal situation!

Colts Richardson a Bust: Inexcusable, brutal, and unprofessional.

What must his teammates think? Some of them rehabbed all week or took pain shots or meds to get on the field Sunday for their team mates and this guy takes an important play off because he is tired??

Needless to say, veteran backup Joe Flacco will be starting this week for the Colts and I imagine the players are thrilled with the change. For more on this and other NFL talk and analysis tune in each weekday to Craig Shemon and Company on ESPN Southwest Florida from 2-6pm
