Southwest Florida has found itself in the national news again. And as usual, it's for something dumb. Remember back about 18 months ago when some guy from Punta Gorda, Florida got beat up on a plane by Mike Tyson? Yep, he's back. And the Punta Gorda man has paired up with Morgan & Morgan to sue Mike Tyson for $450,000. I know it's been a while, so here's a little refresher, courtesy of TMZ.
That's Southwest Florida's Melvin Townsend III of Punta Gorda, Florida.
When you see the Punta Gorda man at the end of the video, he really looks like he got off easy.
That is Mike Tyson laying hands on you, my guy. That's real. He took some shots, and now he wants to get paid. Even though it looks like it was Melvin that was instigating.
In a settlement offer issued by a lawyer from Morgan & Morgan, he's seeking nearly a half mil in damages. TMZ reported that the settlement offer states "Townsend sustained a "severe headache" as well as neck pain ... and "is still suffering with the effects of the assault to this day."
Although this looks like a cash grab, one thing working in Melvin's favor is that Mike admitted guilt and that he "shouldn’t have done it". According to Yahoo, in an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Mike said "I was just irritated and tired — and high and pissed off. Sh*t happens. I don’t want to hurt nobody.”
Florida Orange Grove Sold for $17M to Popular OnlyFans Creator
OnlyFans and Kick content creator Amouranth has seen the boom in Florida real estate and is jumping in by buying a Florida orange grove. According to her X (Twitter) account, she bought a$17,000,000 fruit orchard/grove. The total property is 2,213 Acres total across Florida and 3 other states. She also has an option to pick up an additional 928 acres at one of the sites for an additional $7.2 million. The primary crop of the groves is Valencia oranges, which most of which is used to make orange juice. Amouranth is in the Florida Orange Juice game.
Amouranth, who's real name is Kaitlyn Siragusa is not new to the investing world. She also owns a 7-11 and additional real estate. She plans on buying more farmland and jokes that she plans to overtake overtake Bill Gates and his 275,000 agriculture acres. We may see more of her here on Florida farms as it sounds like she's just getting started.
How an OnlyFans model can make enough money to buy a Florida orange grove.
Kaitlyn has many sources of income and according to Forbes pulls down roughly 15 million a year. Primarily through OnlyFans, Fansly, and Kick. One of her more unique ways of making money is "sleep streams." This is exactly what it sounds like. People are paying money to watch her sleep. In pajamas, in bed - sleeping. The voyeurs on the stream can also pay extra to try to wake her up, with either a notification or some music. The sleep stream can net her around $10,000 - $15,000. The world is a weird place.
Although the exact location of her purchase was not revealed, she did state that some of the land is near a city and “might end up having other uses.” Amouranth was recently in Tampa for the Creator Clash 2 Boxing Charity Gala.
Above all, Amouranth has clearly figured out the internet, and now she's branching out. Here's some of the simple, common things she does that gets millions of views
Play Twister
This is just that. A clip of her playing Twister. And people will gift her money while they watch.
Shopping
Hooooooow as a guy do you go up to her at a store? He's willing to risk it all just for a 'hello'. This is a clip originally posted to Kick.
Selling hot tub water
She begins with talking about a totally different, and very weird topic. Then she introduces one of her own.
Training
This is just some training. Boxing, and squats.
Sleeping
Here's a little more about the sleeping thing. People leave the stream when she wakes up?
What's next?
Well, there's actually a website for Florida Citrus Farms For Sale. If Amouranth wants to stay in the Tampa area, she could pick up 59 acres in Polk County for $900,000. But I say go big. Southwest Florida. Gopher Ridge in Immokalee. 5,509 acres for $38 million. If you're going to catch up with Bill Gates, you'll need to take big steps.
