Aum Dhruv is one of the 35 Florida students who received a scholarship. He attends Fort Myers High School and is looking to attend either Princeton or Yale to study engineering. Right now, his career goal is to be an executive at a financial services or tech firm. Later, he hopes to be a science policy advisor.

Amazon scholarship winners were selected by using a variety of criteria. Academic achievement is one of them. In addition, students' leadership and participation in school and community activities was taken into consideration. Finally, things like work experience, future goals, and financial need were factored in.
