The sauce originated in Thailand in the 1940's. It has since gained fame worldwide. In the United States, Huy Fong Foods is the primary producer. Sriracha has a range of uses but is famously incorporated into sauces. Add mayo for a spicy dip. The combination is often used on rolls in sushi restaurants. In addition, the sauce is commonly infused in butter.
Restaurants all over the country incorporate Sriracha into menu items and sauces. Blue Diamond even makes Sriracha flavored almonds. It used to be everywhere. However, now, it's like going on a treasure hunt to find.
