Last month the SOBE Wine & Food Festival took place in Miami and next weekend there's another big festival coming to South Florida.
One thing I've always really enjoyed are food festivals. Being able to walk around and taste different chef creations is such a cool experience. And chef's also love talking about their food and their flavors. So, it's a great opportunity to learn more about different ingredients and cooking styles. I'm not a huge cook myself, but I do enjoy good food and a food festival is a great place to sample a lot of different dishes all in one place.
Next weekend, April 1-2, the SAVOR SoFLO Festival is happening in South Florida on Hollywood Beach. And when I say on the beach, I mean literally in the sand behind the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort. There will be two giant tents in the sand with dozens of chefs, culinary personalities, wine, spirits and craft breweries. While you're walking around tasting, there will also be interactive cooking demonstrations by both local and national chefs.
Tammy Gail is the founder and producer of Savor SoFLO. She said in a press release: “We look forward to our best year yet, with new and exciting offerings and participants, plenty of food, drinks and music. We cannot wait for a fabulous weekend of wine in our hands and toes in the sand.”
Where can I find more info?
