Florida is the best state for a family spring break. The news and rankings come from Family Destinations Guide. Spring Break is a right of passage for college students. However, younger students, and their parents, also get a spring break.

While watching college co-eds act crazy might be entertaining for mom and dad, being around some of the parties and party goers is not always appropriate for younger kids. So where do you go? Florida destinations hold three of the top ten spots in this guide.

Panama City Beach is the top spot. The water is beautiful, there are more than a dozen beaches to visit and there is a lot of nature to explore. Pier Park has a fun SkyWheel, a giant ferris wheel and more.

Next up is Titusville. It's just minutes from where you'll find the famous Kennedy Space Center. If you haven't been, it's a must see. You can touch and actual rock from the moon and sometimes astronauts are hanging out to greet people The beaches of the so-called Space Coast are also beautiful.

Finally, the third spot on the spring break list is held by the Florida Keys. Each island has it own personality and things to do. However, snorkeling is everywhere. You can swim with the dolphins and even check out the animals undergoing rehabilitation at the Turtle Hospital in Marathon.

In addition, if you are on a budget, Cocoa Beach is the best place according to this guide. What about Southwest Florida? Well it's not on the list this time around.
