Video: Odell Beckham Jr Body Cam Footage

Odell Beckham Jr is still a free agent. Rumors have swirled during October and November about what team the Super Bowl winning receiver would sign for. The Bills, Cowboys, and even a return to the Giants have been on the table of OBJ. All 3 teams are in the playoffs, and none of them needed Odell's services to get there. All of the chatter about Odell signing stopped in early December when he was removed from a plane for unruly behavior. The Odell Beckham Jr. body cam footage has now been released. Here's what's circling on the internet right now.

Doesn't Seem so Bad

Well, that doesn't seem so bad. The flight attendants are adamant that OBJ was unresponsive and took his pants off. This video does not show that. Is Odell disrespectful to the old man in the red shirt? Yes. Is that reason to remove him from the plane? I don't think so. Does Odell come across as a spoiled athlete? A little. In fairness to the flight attendants, there is no video prior to authorities showing up. So for all we know they are telling the truth. But they went too far in removing him from the plane. He appeared calm, and responsive in the video. But it is understandable to want to avoid any potential issues when 30,000 feet in the air on a cross-country flight. The flight was Miami to Los Angeles.

Conclusion

I've had a few too many pops before a long flight. It eases the nerves and helps you nod off for a few hours. One of the flight attendants said he was coming from the club. Same idea I guess. The video is interesting, however I hope this is not the reason NFL teams passed on him for the playoff push. This Odell Beckham Jr. body cam footage is relatively tame compared to some of the stuff we've seen over the past years.
