Mysterious Light Display in Cape Coral, Florida Stuns Witnesses.
It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's just a weird-colored cloud with a "sequence of lights" in Cape Coral, Florida. On January 5, 2023, a witness and their spouse saw the strange display while driving home and immediately knew something was up. After all, they live near not one, but two airports – Southwest Florida Regional Airport and Punta Gorda Airport – and they were pretty sure grand opening spotlights weren't allowed.
But as the witness watched the lights project down and across the sky from the cloud, they couldn't help but be amazed. And they weren't alone – the witness's spouse was just as stunned, calling them outside to see the show.
According to a report made to MUFON the witness said, “I was amazed at the display and the sequence display,” the reporting witness stated. “The lights appeared to be projecting down and across the sky from a weird-colored cloud that didn’t look like the others out that night and the lights stayed in the cloud.” Of course, being the responsible citizens they are, the witness immediately tried to find out who was behind the lights. They contacted NBC2 to see if there were any special events or grand openings happening, and even reached out to the community and scoured the internet for clues. But so far, they've come up empty-handed.
Are the light just grand opening-style lights? Or maybe they're aliens, trying to communicate with us through some bizarre light show? Either way, an investigator is reportedly looking into local businesses that might have been operating promotional lights, as well as weather conditions for that time and date.
And who knows, maybe this isn't the only weird light show we'll see in Florida. After all, the state ranked third in the country for UFO sightings in December 2022, with a whopping 25 cases recorded. So keep your eyes to the sky, South West Florida! You never know what you might see.SOURCE: News Break
Florida Is A Top Spot For UFO Sightings In October
There are a lot of weird sightings in Florida on any given day. But did you know that Florida is a top spot for UFO sightings in October? It is true according to the folks at Travel Lens. Their experts take data from the National UFO Reporting Center to come up with a list of states that are best for alien enthusiasts to visit.
UFOs are unidentified flying objects. However, when authorities dig into the reports they find that many UFOs are actually atmospheric phenomena. Others turn out to be some kind of human technology, or even weird reflections of light. However, other sightings simply can not be explained. It is those unexplained reports that fuel the belief of extraterrestrial life and intelligence. Aliens, in other words.
This data spans a time period of 24 years. A spokesperson from Travel Lens says, “There have been almost 5,000 reports worldwide this year and counting. Which shows that there is still a very clear belief in UFOs."
The spokesperson went on to say, “It’s definitely worth doing some research and visiting these states if you have a real interest in extraterrestrial life. Even if you don't, it can be great fun with friends and family to visit new places and explore all they have to offer.”
