There are some airports that have a reputation of being busy, like Hartsfield-Jackson in Atlanta and O'Hare in Chicago, but one Florida airport has made the list of the Top 10 Busiest in the World.
Airports Council International (ACI) published their list based on passenger traffic in 2021, cargo volumes and aircraft movements.
Orlando International Airport made the list for the first time, with more than 40.4 million passengers. Between our year-round great Florida weather and being the home of theme parks like Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, it makes sense that they're one of the busiest airports in the world. The airport is also getting ready to open a new terminal to handle even more passengers in the future.
