Gymnastics - Artistic - Olympics: Day 2

TOKYO, JAPAN – JULY 25: Simone Biles of Team United States looks on during Women’s Qualification on day two of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games at Ariake Gymnastics Centre on July 25, 2021 in Tokyo, Japan.

Simone Biles got personal in her latest Instagram post and how the "weight of the world" is on her shoulders.

"it wasn’t an easy day or my best but I got through it. I truly do feel like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders at times," the five-time Olympic medalist said Sunday to Instagram. "I know I brush it off and make it seem like pressure doesn’t affect me but d*** sometimes it’s hard hahaha! The olympics is no joke! BUT I’m happy my family was able to be with me virtually🤍 they mean the world to me!"

The women's gymnastics team got off to a rough start after losing to Russia in the preliminary round with a score of 170.562 leaving Russia with a 1.067 lead.

"I feel we did a pretty good job. Obviously, there are little things we need to work on, so we'll go back and practice and work on that, just so we can do our best performance at team finals because that's what matters," Biles said after completing the qualifying round per PEOPLE. "We're really striving for a top three [finish]."

The women's gymnastics team final is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, July 27. The individual all-around final is set for Thursday, July 29.
