Malachi Love-Robinson is a name you may not recognize, but maybe you'll recognize the name "Dr. Love". He made headlines back in 2016 for committing fraud and grand theft after posing as a medical doctor at the age of 18. He claimed to have had a P.H.D. and a M.D. He even managed to steal more than $20,000 from a palm beach county resident.
After serving 21 months in prison for this little stunt, he's back at it.
He was arrested and charged with fraud and grand theft again.
Love-Robinson has been working for a shipping broker. He was having clients send him payments directly to his personal bank account instead of the company's. He took a little over $10,000.
He was arrested Thursday morning and was released Thursday night.
In a text message to the owner of the company, he said, "can't say how truly sorry he is," is "doing everything [he] can to make it right" and "I don't want to go to jail."
