Zooming With Family On Christmas Day 2020

Zooming With Family On Christmas Day 2020

This Christmas and holiday season will be different for most families as many of us will not be with our extended families because of the pandemic.

So, much like Thanksgiving, we can still be with family on Christmas Day... via Zoom instead of in person. For my family at Thanksgiving, we ate separately with our immediate family and then Zoomed the relatives that we usually share the holiday with for a special "What we are each thankful for" segment after dinner.

For Christmas Day, as it will just be the kids and my husband, after we open the presents and sit down for our afternoon holiday dinner, we will be Zooming with extended family once again, but this time to play some fun games together via Zoom.

I did find some cool games that we can play and they sound fun. According to YouTube mom Shawn Howell, who shared a video of 20 games you can play with family on Zoom for Christmas, her top choice is from a site called TriviaMaker for a fun game of knowledge.

Other games Shawn recommends and shows us how to do are: "What's Missing," "Christmas Would You Rather," "Christmas Bingo," and "Christmas Movie Extra" just to name a few.
