A Florida man was arrested due to his choice in lockdown location.

Orange County Sheriff’s deputies found Richard McGuire on Disney’s Discovery Island on Thursday, according to WGN9. Apparently he had been there since Monday or Tuesday.

The 42-year-old said he planned on camping out there for a week.

McGuire told deputies he didn’t know it was a restricted area, despite there being numerous “no trespassing” signs.

He said he chose the location because it felt like a "tropical paradise."

McGuire was arrested on a trespassing charge and taken to jail without incident.
