Quarantined Italian Man Performs ‘We Will Rock You’ From His Balcony
Italy has been under lockdown for a week due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and the balcony performances are becoming some of the most popular videos on the Internet.
The latest balcony video comes from YouTuber Brian May Tribute, and it shows him playing Queen's iconic "We Will Rock You." The video is captioned, "During this terrible period, each day at 6:00 pm all the Italians play something on their balcony. In Rome, in my condominium, we played 'We Will Rock You'! Big hug all around the world! Ciao!!!"
The entire country of Italy has been under lockdown since Wednesday, March 11 with the only commercial entities open being supermarkets, pharmacies and newsstands. Per The Guardian, Italy has over 35,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19, and 2,978 deaths have been confirmed.
