VIDEO: Quarantined Italian Man Plays Slayer’s ‘Raining Blood’ on Guitar From His Balcony

Kerry King of Slayer

By now, we've all seen videos of Italian citizens taking to their balconies while their country is on lockdown to sing songs together during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Finally, one Italian guitarist has brought metal to his balcony.

Enrico Monti, the guitarist for Italian death metal band Skulld, shared the video below of him plugging into his amp and playing Slayer's "Raining Blood," proving that not even a global pandemic can stop the power of metal.

The entire country of Italy has been under lockdown since Wednesday, March 11 with the only commercial entities open being supermarkets, pharmacies and newsstands. Per The New York Times, Italy has over 17,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19, and 1,000 deaths have been confirmed.
