Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson appear to be in good spirits amid their coronavirus diagnosis. Hanks went to Instagram to assure fans that he and his wife are doing okay.

The actor wrote, "Hello folks. @ritawilson and I want to thank everyone here Down Under who are taking such good care of us. We have Covid-19 and are in isolation so we do not spread it to anyone else. There are those for whom it could lead to a very serious illness. We are taking it one-day-at-a-time. There are things we can all do to get through this by following the advice of experts and taking care of ourselves and each other, no?"

At the end of his post, Tom added, "Remember, despite all the current events, there is no crying in baseball. Hanx," which is a clever reference to his movie A League Of Their Own.

Rita also posted a message on Instagram, saying, "So grateful for the outpouring of prayers, love and support. Means so much and strengthens us." Celebrities like Julia Roberts, Kris Jenner, Kyle Richards, Gwen Stefani, Kate Bosworth, Kate Hudson, and Sharon Stone all went to the comments to show their support.

Tom and Rita are the first A-list celebrities reported to have coronavirus. They are currently in Australia working on projects. Here's to a speedy recovery!
