The magic 8-ball has given its final answer in the "will he won't he" question of Russell Westbrook playing in the Thunder's season opener against the Warriors. Unfortunately the multi-sided die inside has landed on "not likely."
The Oklahoma City star had surgery on his right knee last month and he's still not ready to play, according to head coach Billy Donovan. The 2017 MVP winner has now undergone four procedures on the knee following a collision with Patrick Beverley during the 2013 playoffs. Taking Westbrook's place on the court Tuesday night will be Dennis Schroder.
