On Monday, the SEC announced it would fine LSU $100,000 for the incident. The conference has banned such celebrations over safety concerns, and the fine was larger because it was LSU's second offense. Three weeks ago, the SEC levied a similar fine against Kentucky after the Wildcats upset Mississippi State. All fines go towards the SEC's post-graduate scholarship fund.
