The Bruins and Rangers have swung a deal that'll send defenseman Adam McQuaid to New York in exchange for Steven Kampfer.
The Bruins will also receive a fourth-round draft pick in 2019 and a conditional seventh-round pick in addition to the defenseman. The Bruins will end up saving $2.1 million in cap space as a result of the deal. It also helps them clear one of four right-handed defenseman they had on their roster as of today.
