Denzel Ward scared both players and fans on Thursday after going down on a successful tackle and injuring his back.
The Browns rookie charged Eagles tight end Zach Ertz 10 minutes into the first quarter of Cleveland's third preseason game. Ward remained down for a few minutes, with players from both teams gathering around to check on his condition. Eventually Ward was able to stand up under his own power and walk off the field, but did not return to the game.
