Toddler Hit By Vehicle After Wandering Away From Home

A 3-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle on Saturday evening after wandering away from home in Tampa, Florida.

According to WFLA, the toddler exited her home while her parents ran an errand.

At the time, she was being cared for by an 11-year-old who she is related to.

It is not clear at this time if the older child is a sibling or cousin.

The accident occurred on South Westshore Boulevard.

Authorities have investigated the incident and have said charges will not be filed against the driver of the vehicle.

At this time, the little girl is in critical condition.
