A 16-year-old boy from Florida was told initially he had the flu, but after the medication didn't help him feel better, his parents opted for another opinion.
It was then that they learned he actually had cancer.
Hunter Brady, of Tampa, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
According to WFTS, the teen had been suffering from the disease for months without knowing it. He was unaware that his fatigue and shortness of breath were a serious cause for concern.
Hunter is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments and will also receive radiation treatment after his chemotherapy has concluded.
To make matters worse, the teen was also bullied online after revealing his diagnosis on Instagram, with the heartless user telling Hunter he deserved cancer.
