A Florida man has been arrested in Tennessee after police say he tried to electrocute his pregnant wife.
The man, identified as Michael Scott Wilson, rigged the front door of his residence in Palm Coast.
According to 10News, police received a tip from the father-in-law of Wilson after he had allegedly made unusual requests about other family members not touching the door.
Wilson and his pregnant wife are separated and it's not clear if he had invited her to his home in an attempt to get her to open the door, but authorities believe the man intended to electrocute her.
When police responded to the residence, sparks flew in the air after they kicked in the door.
Wilson is in the process of being extradited back to Florida.
