Weekend Vibes, What’s Happening In Southwest Florida Nov 4-6

Medieval Knights Tournament

Here are your Weekend Vibes, What's Happening In Southwest Florida Nov 4-6.

We know that a significant part of Southwest Florida is still not up and running since Hurricane Ian. However, significant progress has been made in many areas. Businesses, organizations and residents are pushing to get back on track. Not only do we want to help get relief to those who are still suffering, but we also want to help those who are making progress. That's one reason we continue to put together our Weekend Vibes calendar as best we can.

Downtown Fort Myers was underwater when Hurricane Ian passed through. Many businesses are still not open. However, officials have decided to move forward with the monthly Downtown Fort Myers Art Walk Friday. This month, the event is dedicated to emergency workers, first responders and government officials who worked tirelessly through the storm.

Art shows seem to dominate weekend events. Many artists were also hit by the storm so show organizers wanted to help keep them going by not canceling these shows.

Saturday, you'll need to adjusts the time on the clock back one hour for the end of day light savings time.

Weekend time change

One of the big things to remember this weekend is Daylight Savings Time. Like it or not, the clocks fall back an hour Saturday night. The days will get a little shorter and we will see the night fall a little earlier.

Numerous events have been canceled or postponed in wake of Hurricane Ian. Find out which ones by clicking here. Another thing, please remember that events on you calendar and even those listed here can always change. We are living in a very fluid world right now. It never hurts to call ahead to confirm. Finally, if you have the means, the energy, the desire to do so, please support the local businesses that are up and running.
