Tom Brady Visiting a Miami School

Tom Brady Visiting a Miami School

Let the rumor mill start up. The offseason is here, and Tom Brady is scheduled to be a free agent this offseason. We know that the Miami Dolphins have had interest in signing Brady in the past. They're without their 1st round pick this year after the NFL found that team owner Stephen Ross tampered with Brady on multiple occasions. Dolphins GM Chris Grier said after the Dolphins loss to the Bills in the playoffs that Tua is the teams quarterback moving forward. However, the history is too much to ignore here. Tua is not reliable enough. In his last five seasons he has had at least an ankle, knee, hip, rib, and finger injury. Plus two concussions. The point is that the Dolphins say they are set at quarterback. But there is too much history between Brady, Ross, and Miami to just ignore the idea all together.

Tom Brady has a home in Miami. So does his ex-wife. Obviously it is more likely that the reason he is looking a schools in Miami is because that is where his kids are living. But if the Dolphins are interested in bringing in Brady for a year, it sure looks like Brady would jump and the opportunity. Brady will be 46 when the 2023 NFL season kicks off. But be assured there will be plenty of suiters should Brady want back into the league. So Tom Brady visiting a Miami school is a hint, it doesn't mean the Fins are a lock to get Brady. Here are the odds according to DraftKings sportsbook.

Brady is obviously comfortable in Tampa. The team underperformed in 2022, but they still have talent on the roster. It would be a plus being the NFC where the path to the Super Bowl seems to be easier than the AFC.

Brady and McDaniels have had a ton of success together. The Raiders have moved on from Carr, and will be in the quarterback market this offseason. Davante Adams would be the best receiver Brady has played with since Randy Moss.

San Francisco 49ers +350

Brady was a fan of the 9ers growing up. His family still lives in the bay area, and the 49ers are a loaded roster. IT all makes sense until Brock Purdy factors into the equation. I can't believe Brock Purdy could be the only thing stopping Tom freaking Brady from going to the destination he really want to be at. But that's the world we're living in.

Patriots fans might pass out from all the excitement if this were to come true. The offense needs to get some more weapons should Brady return to Foxboro. But the addition of Bill O'Brien to the staff as Offensive Coordinator is a huge plus for Brady.

Miami can say what they want about Tua moving forward. They need to show the world and their fan base that they mean it this offseason. Tua was good when healthy in 2022. However, we all know the history between the Dolphins and Brady.

New York Giants +900

Daniel Jones is a free agent. Brian Daboll is a really good coach. We've seen what he has done with Josh Allen and Daniel Jones in the NFL. Daboll also spent time with the Patriots before becoming OC with Alabama, so there is a familiarity with Brady.

New York Jets +900

The Jets roster is really good, and really young. They were a quarterback away from being a playoff team in 2022. Zach Wilson is not the long term answer in New York. Brady would come in and unleash the full potential of the offense, and be able to lean on one of the best defenses in the league.
