PHILLIES AND ASTROS WORLD SERIES TRIVIA

MLB Players Agree To A 60-Day Season

It's time to put football aside for just a moment because tonight is Game One of the World Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Houston Astros.  So we will do Phillies and Astros trivia on Wiki-Pete-ia on the Shemon and Sheppard Show on ESPN Southwest Florida.

And GOOD NEWS!  Our phones are back for the first time since Hurricane Ian!

In case you are not fortunate enough to be lucky caller number nine at 239-337-ESPN, then you are in luck!  Play at home and dazzle your family!  Stump your co-workers with useless knowledge!  Amaze your friends with your newfound intelligence!  Below are the actual questions AND ANSWERS heard during Wiki-Pete-ia on our show.

I've never liked the Phillies and my reason goes all the way back to second grade.  In little league that season I was on the Cubs and a second grade bully was on the Phillies.  It's that simple.  I've hated them ever since.  The Astros are in their fourth World Series in six years but the stain of their recent cheating scandal still remains.

Despite all of this, the World Series used to be a big deal.  Let's hope it still is.

Let's do Phillies and Astros Trivia on Wiki-Pete-ia!
