voting booth

Only 12 of 92 polling places open in Lee County following Hurricane Ian. The monster storm has changed so much about our daily lives in Southwest Florida. Voting is one of them. A majority of the polling places in Lee County are not usable for the very important mid-term elections. This drastically effects where and how we will all be voting in the November 8th election.

While every election is important, this is a big one for Floridians. We are voting on the next governor of the Sunshine State as well as several key leaders to represent us in Washington, DC.  It might not be as convenient to get to the polls but in some areas, free transportation is being offered to some of the voting sites to help give all residents access to the polls.
